Hello! My name is Victoria and I hail from Idaho. This is my first blog entry about my exchange year in Wedel, Germany. I just finished my junior year at Boise High School and now I'm moving onto my senior year at Johann-Rist Gymnasium.
My journey getting here has been an interesting one. Thanks to the Congress Bundestag program through ASSE, I was able to acquire a full ride scholarship to spend the year in Germany. I am so thankful for their opportunity and I'm very ready to take this year on.
I leave July 29th to head to Washington D.C. and then should be arriving in Hamburg to meet my family on August 2nd!
I'm excited to meet my family, take on the language, and get immersed in the entirely new culture.
